We got new nail desks! This is very exciting for us nail techs! These amazing desks aren't only pretty, but they also have proper ventilation and will cut down the amount of nail dust inhaled and flying around the spa. They are custom cut so the distance between us and the client is shorter and will save our sore backs from leaning.

Went to Edmonton for Egoista Watercolor hand painted nail art.
We learned to hand paint flowers, proper shading techniques, mixing colors and proper placement on the nail.

The Canadian Nail Tech Connection is an event that brings fellow nail techs from all across Canada to network, educate, share stories, inspire each other, meet new friends, reunite with old friends and shop till we drop.
Nail Vendors set up booths and offer demos and showcase their talents as well as new products and services.
We picked up quite a few fun products to bring back to the Spa to share with our clients.

Kendyl just got back from her Henna Brow Training at The European Institute of Esthetics!

Henna brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness.

Always a great time at the P.J. Party every year!
We had popcorn & treats, an amazing draw for a fabulous Gift Basket of Spa Products.
We had Christmas movies playing all day.
Clients got to pick their discount by digging in a container of "snowballs" (pom-poms and snowflake confetti).
There were discounts on services and any products purchased.
All of us at the Spa and our clients wore their pj's! So much fun!
